Pavilion Milan

Pavilion Milan
Project Year: 2010        1,300 m²

The pavilion was conceived as a sculptural landmark expressing sustainability, nourishment, and global interconnection. Its architectural language begins with a simple volume, which is transformed through the subtraction of organic elements.

Visitors are guided into shaded communal areas designed for gathering, reflection, and interaction. Within the wider framework of the 2015 international exposition in Milan, the pavilion became a dynamic meeting place, an architectural expression of how growth, openness, and responsibility for the planet can coexist in one coherent form.

The resulting structure is defined by a continuous skin that invites daylight, movement, and curiosity.

These voids and transitions create a dynamic play of shadow and transparency, reflecting the balance between protection and openness.
