The wastewater treatment plant is designed for approximately 40,000 population equivalents. The process includes mechanical treatment, with photovoltaic support on the screening building, as well as a biological stage in a two line aeration tank. The treated water is discharged into the river through a discreet channel. At the same time, the cylindrical digester enables energy recovery from biogas before the final dewatering stage.
