Logistics Facility in Bavaria
Project year: 2019 5,970 m²
The planned construction project involves the erection of a modern logistics building within an existing industrial area, designed as a functional link between two existing structures and physically connected to them. The building is divided into a solid-construction basement and a single-story logistics hall on top, built with a reinforced concrete structure and a facade made of sandwich panels. The roof is designed as a flat roof featuring trapezoidal sheet metal and thermal insulation, with certain areas enhanced ecologically and for user comfort through intensive and extensive greening as well as an integrated roof terrace. Inside, the new building provides spacious areas for warehouse logistics specifically optimized for the integration of an automated high-bay warehouse with varying clear heights. Access is provided flexibly via several external entrances for delivery traffic as well as direct internal connections to the adjacent building sections, enabling efficient operational workflows for the personnel working on-site.
Project realized while at IWL AG.
